Full checklist: 60 days, 30 days, 7 days, pickup day
Practical list so nothing is forgotten. Print or save it. If you book with us, you receive an email with each block when it applies.
📅 60 days before
- ☐ Reservations paid in full — flights, motorhome, travel insurance contracted.
- ☐ Driver's license valid — if it expires during travel, renew. If non-EU/US/UK, get IDP.
- ☐ Credit card available — for the bond at pickup. Check limit with your bank. NOT debit, NOT virtual.
- ☐ Visa / ETA / ESTA / eTA — Australia (ETA), USA (ESTA), Canada (eTA), NZ (NZeTA). Online in 72h.
- ☐ Essential campground reservations — Yosemite, Banff, Cradle Mountain, Acadia. They fill 6+ months ahead.
📅 7 days before
- ☐ Print pickup voucher + passport — some branches require paper copy.
- ☐ Confirm branch address and hours — branches are usually NOT at the airport.
- ☐ Pack soft luggage — motorhome compartments are irregular. Hard cases don't fit in many.
📅 Pickup day
- ☐ Arrive at branch 11:00-13:00 — earlier and they're closed. Allow 90-120 min for paperwork and briefing.
- ☐ Inspect vehicle exterior — detailed photos of each side before signing the dropoff form.
- ☐ Test taps, shower, stove, fridge and toilet — before leaving the branch parking.
- ☐ Check fuel level and odometer — note when signing.
- ☐ First stop at supermarket — water, coffee, breakfast, snacks, fruit.
